Critical components require careful inspection. To ensure that subsequent assembly operations produce quality diagnostic devices, our client required 100% inspection of two key microfluidic components. Intense Engineering designed an built an automated inspection system that utilized:
•    Flow testing – to verify that all flow passage diameters were sufficient
•    Pressure decay leak testing – to verify that no leakage would occur
•    Machine Vision – to verify that no occlusions were present in over-molded ports
