Project Description

Intense Engineering designed and built a semi-automated system that enabled our client to precisely cut DNA-arrayed glass substrates and place them onto a sub-assembly. Glass slides are loaded and unloaded manually, but are automatically scored and broken. After being scored and broken, the system places each section onto an intermediate station for precise alignment before placement onto the subassembly.
